Painting style
Stylistically, I would place my work within the realm of magic realism. The themes in my paintings often come from my living and working environment, but are given a new, imaginative composition. This gives new meaning and depth to the painting.
Guarantee
Characteristic of my oil paintings are the colours, which I mix myself. Each piece is guaranteed to be a unique work of art. I guarantee this as well as the excellent quality that will last a lifetime.
Each painting is accompanied by a certificate.
Evolution
My first paintings date from the late 1970s. This was followed by a period of several group and solo exhibitions in Flanders and Brussels. The content of my paintings has evolved with me and reflects my current experiences. Following the path of Buddhism makes me even more aware of my inner life and my connection to the world, which is also reflected in my paintings.
